Gwyneth Paltrow is dealing with the death of her beloved black Labrador by reassuring herself that her pet is being looked after by her late father in heaven.
The actress was devastated when the dog died recently but she took great comfort in the thought that her dead father Bruce would be looking after him.
She says, “Someone said, the day they had to put him to sleep - I was really upset - and someone said, ‘Oh, you know, Bruce is walking with him in heaven right now.’
“I thought, ‘Wouldn’t that be great if that were true.’”
Hollywood producer Bruce died following complications of pneumonia and recurrence of throat cancer in Rome, Italy in October 2002.
Miss Paltrow, I just wanted to tell you I share your grief at the loss of your pet,I just lost my buddy skeeter, my best friend of 14 years he was an asthmatic cat his entire life and had an attack he could not bounce back from, I also lost 3 dogs in 2 years sometimes life really hurts, but they live on in our hearts. I still have my parrot and 4 cats the parrot loves chasing the cats,all of my remaining pets I rescued from the Arizona Humane Society where I am employed.again I share your grief and will say a prayer for you and your best friend, who I’m sure is with your father in heaven we, live with the knowledge that we will all be together again someday.
