Jake Gyllenhaal was seen yesterday in New York with his newly adopted “puggle”, a pug and beagle mix. Jake carried the adorable puppy while having lunch with his mother, his sister Maggie and her boyfriend, actor Peter Sarsgaard. More pics can be found at justjared.com.

There’s so many puggles in animal shelters, I’m glad Jake adopted one.

Yea, I agree. I just read an article saying how they are the new trendy hybrid mutt dogs and that they are selling for around $1000. So, I doubt he adopted this one, but it’s still adorable.

Oh, Sammy K, you just like to stir up trouble and turn everything anyone says into something negative, don’t you?
What I’m saying is that these dogs are hard to come by right now and it’s difficult to believe that there are ones waiting at a pound to be adopted when people are paying over a thousand dollars each for them.
You’re right, I don’t know Jake Gyllenhaal, but I’m just reporting what I heard. I’m not saying it’s a fact, just what I heard and what I think. I am allowed to have my own opinion, you know.
And, just because you read that he adopted it doesn’t mean you should necessarily believe that either. You’re probably too young to have had anyone teach you that you shouldn’t believe everything you read.

yea erica why would you say that it says right at the top that it was adopted. and this site is usually right, maybe he got lucky and found one in a shelter.

hahaha.. i will someday own several realestates of my own, i have everything you mentioned minus the horses but plus more. and i didn’t need my mommy and daddy to pay for them either! hahahha…

yeh…i found a puggle online for $875 but then i saw one that had been rescued for free and got it. if you search you can find them anywhere…you just have to look. they’re really cute and sweet!!!:)

There is no such thing as a puggle. There are Pugs and there are beagles. Any cross is a mutt and anyone who is producing them is just exploiting dogs for profit!! In other words puppymills!!!! WAKE UP!
